My new swimsuit finally arrived in the mail, so I've decided to put it to good use.
I was at the gym for four hours today. I swam for about three.
And I am soooo tired.
But hey! It's all worth it :)
Unless you have been living in a cave for the past month or so (or if you *really* don't care about the Olympics / current events, which is cool too. we all have the right to make our own choices in life. and i sincerely believe that. anyways.), it should pretty much be common knowledge that Michael Phelps consumes about 12,000 kcal a day (i am not writing a research paper, so i don't feel like i am obliged to cite this. however, if you doubt, please search "calories michael phelps" and there lies the answer to your questions :) ). I am not sure about how many hours this guy practices, but I figured that if I swam for about two hours a day, it should be sufficient in achieving my goal of losing all the weight I've gained since ... 15 pounds ago. AND I can still eat! Yay! Go exercise.
Anyway, this amazing Olympic gold medalist / world record setter has really inspired me.
And Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio is my motivation. :) So is being able to eat more, of course. :P
I think I've only gone swimming like ten times in my life. Total. From when I was born. Maybe a little more, but the number is definitely less than thirty.
And I didn't know how to do freestyle before today.
I learned freestyle and backwards butterfly today. When I initially got into the pool, I was kinda shy 'cuz everybody else around me knew how to do freestyle, and the only two things I could do was float and breaststroke. I almost thought of just leaving and going home so I can watch a video on YouTube on how to swim freestyle, just so I don't embarrass myself. But then I just observed the people around me... and imitated... and somehow I just started swimming freestyle. x_x !!!
It was fun. :) And some random guy goes, "you're good!" I'm like, really??? I haven't swam in like over a year! And he goes, "you have beautiful moves" (talking about when I swam on my back) and I was like, thanks x_x;; and then he says I should try butterfly on my back, and I was like, I don't even know butterfly forwards! And he goes, try it! So I did... and I swam so fast on my back! It was so much fun. I got water in my nose during the first few seconds, though.
Man, people around here are crazy. Kinda like me. It was like 2 am, and this guy comes in and starts swimming. I was like ... dang. Guess I'm not the only one who goes to the gym this late at night.
Okay, I think I need to stop writing my blogs at 5am, because I just start ranting.
Time to write the other languages, so I can hit the sack.
C-ya.
xoxo. :) lots of love,
Tiana <3
