It just so happened that HSM3 came out right before I left for Japan, so I managed to drag a friend, my brother, AND my youth pastor to see it *the night* before my flight. (BTW if you're not familiar with the abbreviation, HSM=High School Musical.)
Awww I never thought I'd say this but...
I MISS HIGH SCHOOL LIFE!!!
OMG. >.<
Watching HSM3 really made me wanna repeat my senior year again (of course not the filling out college apps semester, but rather the semester following it. :P And yeah, of course, Homecoming is great, but PROM is even better. And plus, the second semester of senior year totally gives you an excuse for major senioritis, because now that college apps are done, all you have to do is sit back, relax, and wait for the results.). Ahh, the memories.
I WANNA GO TO PROM AGAIN!!! :(:(:(
Somebody take me to PROM.
LOL.
But then again, that sort of defeats the whole purpose of going to PROM, because unless you know a lot of people there, despite how hot your date may be, it is probably going to be REALLY boring.
I was at the office of my management company yesterday, just brushing up on some Japanese and prepping for this live performance this coming Sunday. It's going to be at Chiba University! I think Chiba has an exchange program with Cornell, so I knew about the place way before even coming to Japan (I was looking at all the exchange programs my school offered with Japanese universities). Anyways, I'm *REALLY* looking forward to it, especially because there will be soo many college students my age in the audience!
And when I finished my stuff, this other artist finished her vocal training as well, and we were both REALLY hungry... so we went to eat fish together! It was the first time I went to any restaurant where I had a whole fish to myself (it was a set/combination meal thingie with rice and tofu and pickles and miso soup... the rice was OMG so good. Japan seriously has wayyy better rice than what I normally eat in L.A. If you know of any brand of rice that can match up to Japan's quality in L.A., please please PLEASE let me know. Or even how to make the rice taste better.).
This other artist is the vocalist of a group known as Prime of M. The two of them are soooo fun to be around! They are actually performing at the festival at Chiba University this Sunday as well! :):)
Come see me perform if you're in the area!
